Dear Parents
On Thursday night, January 21st, the Board of Education unuanimously approved a millage question that will come before the voters on April 13, 2010. The millage question will ask for about $70,000,000 and will encompass the following:
- A new K-6 school ($29M) just to the west of Central Park Elementary
- A new 7-8 Junior High ($22M) also to the west of Central Park Elementary
- Note: This building will be expandable to a second high school at some future date
- District-wide repairs and renovations ($6M)
- Site improvements to the land (roads, water, sewer, and all utilities) ($6M)
- Paying off the land purchase ($7M)
- A small increase in operational money ($420,000)

2009-2010 YEARBOOK ORDER INFORMATION:
Seminar teachers were provided with a list of students who have paid for their yearbooks in full, as well as a list of students who have partially paid. Partial-paid orders need to be paid by February 1 for them to get their personalization. For those who still would like to place an order, see information below:
Steps to Order a Yearbook
1. Order online by going to the link posted on our webpage at the right.
2. Call 1.877.767.5217 to order over the phone.
3. Bring Mrs. Schneidewind a check (made out to LJHS Yearbook) for $33.79.
